Updates Not Downloading
I have a Dell Studio Desktop 540 64-bit Windows 7 Home Edition. I go to Drivers & Downloads and I have 39 updates.
I’ve entered my service tag
I’ve selected them all in the past and (add to download list)
Gone to the top and selected Download.
Selected - Save & OK
Begins to download...
Download complete (ck mark)
Than an ERROR window pops up...
This computer does not meet the minimum req. For installing the software.
Setup will exit.
This happens on all of them.

There is a problem with the Dell downloads database this weekend. Wait until Monday, after they get it fixed.
As far as 39 downloads, I doubt that all of them are updates. Also, DO NOT use the Dell Download Manager to download as it has caused users many problems. Only download each update that you want (need) individually and then install them individually. Look at what the update actually fixes or adds, as it may not even pertain to your specific installation. Keep in mind the old adage with updates, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
