Dual Monitors for OptiPlex 9020 or XPS 8700 (NVidia GTX 745 4Gb)

I'm considering to get a OptiPlex 9020 (i7 4790, 16Gb, 1Tb) which is very similar to the XPS 8700, and the only thing holding me back is the graphic card.

Both systems come with a NVidia Geforce GTX 745 4Gb, which has a HDMI, a DVI, and a VGA outputs. As part of the system I want to get two Dell Ultrasharp U2415 monitors, and each has two HDMI and two DP inputs. My idea is to plug one of them with a HDMI-HDMI cable and the other with a DVI-to-HDMI cable (avoiding the analogical signal of the VGA).

Anybody has successfully tried something similar? Can the GTX 745 run two independent monitors at 1920x1200 each? Is there any known issue with the DVI-to-HDMI cables?
