Welcome to the Community.

If you have tried updating the Drivers and still could not get it working you can try performing a system restore to a check point which is prior to yesterday. If there was any software update that resulted in this the system restore can fix it.  Also please make sure that you are getting the sound from both the internal speakers. Update to the latest BIOS and driver from support.dell.com.

See if the problem occurs on both internal and external speakers. Also you can run Dell Diagnostics to test the audio.

Some problems can be caused by issues with the DirectX . Try downloading the latest version from Microsoft.
