Re: Inspiron 15z 5523 memory maximum

Bear in mind that the CPU sets the memory speed - which for any of the CPUs this system takes, is 1333 MHz.  Installing faster RAM simply causes the memory to down-clock -- the memory controller is aboard the CPU.

Based on the text up to 1600 MHz, dual-channel DDR3 configuration
from  inspiron-15z-5523_reference%20guide_en-us.pdf I have a feeling the RAM to purchase is DDR3-1600 as opposed to the higher value.

Since it's easy enough (on that model) to remove one screw from the underside to get to the RAM, I'll verify visually if the currently installed memory indicates its frequency.

Thanks again for your help and guidance on this @ejn63
