How to buy new laptop & downgrade to W7pro ?
We sent an email (per the Dell onsite contact info) to email@example.com asking "How can (if possible) we buy a new Dell laptop on which the OS could be (with Dell Support) reverted/downgraded (included in the purchase price) fromW10 Pro to W7 Pro" ?
The email reply was to 'contact the business department at 800-456-3355'.
After being transferred back and forth from sales to support, we got a 'support' answer that 'it isnt possible'.
The downgrade process is described at the Dell webpage... www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln302339/downgrade-to-windows-7-professional-edition-on-a-sys... .
So are we to assume the webpage is incorrect/outdated (or we misread) and it is only possible to get W7pro on a 'refurbished' laptop computer ?
