PowerEdge 1900 SBS re-install

I need to re-install SBS Windows on my PowerEdge 1900 I bought in 2006.

I insert the "Installation and Server Management CD" and after doing a bunch of disk configuration it prompts me for the "Microsoft Windows Server 2003 CD".

The CD's that came with the PowerEdge are:

"Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition" Disk 1

"Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2" Disk 2

"Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2" Disk 3

"Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2" Disk 4

"Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Technologies CD"

I tried putting each of the CD's in and it spits it out and prompts again for "Microsoft Windows Server 2003 CD".

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Having failed I tried booting from "Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition" Disk 1 which worked but when I start the Windows Installation it wants tells me no hard drives where detected and to insert the "Manufacturers Hardware Installation Disk" which of course I don't have.

Does anybody have a suggestion.  Shouldn't I be able to recover my system using the CD's that Dell provided with the purchase?

Thanks.

Re: PowerEdge 1900 SBS re-install

First, the Windows CD can't find any drives, because 1) RAID is not configured, and/or 2) Windows needs the RAID drivers.  What controller are you using?

Second, there should be an option for SBS in the list of operating systems.

If you have updated any system firmware, then you may need a newer version of the installation utility (SBUU).
