Right sorry for such a long delay, I just had to schedule in a window to take care of this, and to also ensure that if anything went wrong it was all backed up and verified.
Anyway I did the clear log for the read errors, however, it did not clear the error on the disc shelf as I thought it might. It still shows 398 read errors on that VHD. The disc shelf still says Storage Array Needs Attention.
I am right in thinking that these errors will never go away until that logical drive has been deleted and re built? Or is there some secret thing I am not aware of that allows me to clear them?

We have added some more storage to the device, and as a by product of adding this, which is unrelated to the other disc group, the needs Attention issue has gone away and it is now back to blue light on the unit and working properly.
