Lance, Here's what you can do. Look at both Power Supplies. My 5100 says "Output: 20 V 4.51A". That means it provides 20 Volts DC at up to 4.51 Amps to the computer. If your Power Supply for the 1535 is 20 Volts and 4.5 Amps OR LESS, it will work just fine. I suppose you checked the jack already to see if it fits. While it is possible for the voltages at the three pins to be different, this is rarely the case. You cna check them with a cheep volt meter if you want to. You can get one for around $15 at Radio Shack, Micro Center or most Electronic Supply Stores.
