Hi, thanks for the query. The SNMP community name/string is case sensitive. Please ensure it perfectly matches in OME discovery range with what is being set on the server under SNMP settings. Along with this, please also ensure there is no firewall between OME and the servers blocking SNMP packets. Hope this helps.

For firmware updates, please visit System Update tab in OM Essentials. Configuration tab is meant for configuration compliance workflows. By default, firmware and driver compliance is done against the online Dell catalog (always latest and greatest). Hi, I would like to know what you want to achieve by baselining. Is it the firmware and drives baseline or device settings (configuration) baseline? I would provide further direction based on this. Please also note: Both of the above baselining features are only available for Dell servers and chassis (along with IO Aggregators). Storage and networking (TOR/standalone) devices don't have that support available for them.

Hi, thanks for the query. You need to take below steps. Once they are in place, you'll see emails coming in for preferred conditions. Configure SNMP traps on all iDRAC to be sent to OME (in all preferable situations). Configuration deployment feature of OME can be used for this purpose (fee based). Can also be done using RACADM scripts or 1x1 iDRAC console. Set up email action in OME for the iDRACs / event category / severity you are interested in.

Hi, While configuring the discovery range, what discovery option did you chose and with iDRAC IPs or the chassis (CMC) IP? Please note - For ideal behavior and access to all applicable features, you need to use complete chassis discovery option and supply CMC IP and it's credentials.
