Hi Everyone, I need some help.  I recently purchased the Alienware Aurora R7. I7 8700 GTX1060 16GB Ram I already had an existing GTX 1080 from Zotac Founders Edition. I removed the GTX 1060 from the PCI Slot 1 and placed my existing GTX 1080. I boot up and nothing is outputted on HDMI or DP on my Dell S2716DG. So I re-installed the GTX 1060 on PCI Slot 1 and installed the GTX 1080 on PCI Slot 2. I then installed the drivers for my 1080 and I was able to see my screen when connecting on the 1080. Why wont the the 1080 work on the PCI slot 1? Thanks, Greg
Thank you!!! So I upgraded to a08 and now my bios recognizes the new CPU. Is it  really worth updating to a11 since things are working well in a08?

Hello, I have an alienware aurora ALX 2009.  16gb of RAM, X58 motherboard, BIOS version A04, with an Intel i7 920 processor. I recently purchased an I7 980 which appears to be compatible with this motherboard. After installing the new processor, the pc turns on, i hear the fan run and then 4 beeps, then it goes into the same cycle. I put back my I7 920 and it boots back up perfectly fine. Is this a problem with my BIOS not recognizing the new processor?  How can I fix this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Greg
