Hi, remote racadm works now. Nothing is failing anymore after upgrading to 9.1.0. What I still cannot do is use OpenManage Essentials to update lifecycle controller firmware. I'm looking to confirm what needs to be in place for that to work properly. The server can't use ftp to download firmware from dell. I think network connectivity is the issue but not sure.

Still fails after racadm upgrade. messageid: RED006. What firewall ports need to be open between OME server and idrac? Is it trying to download update from the internet or OME server?   Update: Running this command was successful:  I wonder if OME relys on the Internet and that is why it is still failing. I think it is restricted on what it can access.  racadm -r $idrac -u root -p $rootpw update -f firmimg.d7  The Copying Operation has begun, This might take several minutes to complete, depending on the network. Do not interrupt the operation. RAC987: Firmware update job for firmimg.d7 is initiated. This firmware update job may take several minutes to complete depending on the component or firmware being updated. To view the progress of the job, use the "racadm jobqueue view" command. If the job is scheduled, the system will require a manual reboot. To reboot the system manually, use the "racadm serveraction powercycle" command. Finished: SUCCESS

Hi, I created a compliance server baseline for my M630s and M620s from an XML file that has specific settings for snmp, ssl, and AD. When I attempt to associate devices to the baseline, the server list is empty so I can't do any associations. any idea why? I also noticed that the TLS settings will show Undefined after upgrading to 2.52 and I need to reset the idrac before it fixes it.

Hi,  I was looking for assistance configuring 30+ vrtx CMCs, specifically the snmp community string, root pw reset. I didn't find anything good when I searched the forum. I am currently using the iDRAC-Redfish-Scripting modules for configuring our idracs. I'd like to find something similar for cmc.  The other thing I need to look into is scripting cert requests and installs.  Thanks, J

I'm not familiar with the OME troubleshooting tool. I'll have to research how to use it.  I figured out the issue and know how to fix. The devices need to be updated to use a new community string. I had a snmp string mismatch between OME and what is on the idrac 7/8 network/services settings. I have a powershell module that uses an xml file to configure settings.
Hi, After I upgraded OME from 2.1 to 2.4, all my devices were gone. I re-imported them but only 6 are reporting back inventory. The rest are showing "unknown". OME is on Windows 2008 R2. Help -J

Hi, I'm looking for help on using the Redfish API with examples in PowerShell. I found some in Python but would prefer to use PowerShell. I need to do the following tasks.  1. Ensure LDAP enabled, if not , configure and enable it.   2. Reset password for admin account 3. Verify password for admin user.  I found some functions someone wrote but haven't figured out how to do what I"m looking to do yet. I'm new to PowerShell and Rest. Any help would be appreciated.  github.com/.../Examples.md
