If that does not resolve the issue format and reinstall Windows.  To run the diags on the system you can start the computer and tap the F8 key. Choose the diags from the list.

OsamaSBCrea, You can run the diags on the system to see if the video card is failing. Also, a fresh install of Windows may resolve the issue if there are no issues found with the diags. PSA+ Diagnostics PSA+ Diagnostics Dell includes a series of tests for a system's hardware into the BIOS called the PSA+ diagnostics. You can run these tests even if the system lacks any media (hard drive, CD drive, etc.). To launch the PSA+ diagnostics on this system, perform one of the following actions: Hold down the <Fn> key while pressing the power button. Turn on the system, press <F12> at the initial Dell™ logo screen, and select Diagnostics from the boot menu. Disconnect the AC power and remove the battery. While holding down the power button, insert the AC connector into the back of the system. The system then starts and the message Diagnostic boot selected displays. The system then launches the PSA+ diagnostics. The version of PSA+ diagnostics on this system is text based, not GUI based. Because the text-based interface was chosen, all systems going forward will include the PSA+ diagnostics instead of reverting to the older PSA version. The GUI interface took too much room in the available BIOS space. XPS L701x Drivers Downloads and Manuals

Ollie366, If the system was shipped with Windows 8 you will need to reinstall Windows 8 on the system and then upgrade to Windows 10. If you installed Windows 10 from Microsoft, you will need to get the Windows 10 OS from their site.. What is the computer model? Windows 10 Version 1709 Installation .isos can be Downloaded from Microsoft by visiting their website. The Windows 10 Version 1709 Installation media automatically inputs all mainstream Windows 8 OEM Product Keys. Windows 8.1 OEM Product Keys and Windows 10 OEM Product Keys during installation and automatically selects the correct corresponding Edition of Windows 10 OEM to install. All Activation Mechanisms with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Keys still work despite Microsoft only marketing a 1 year free upgrade. Download Windows 8.1

pujasaha, Start the computer and tap the F2 key to enter the bios. Once in the bios navigate to the Boot screen. Change the boot option from PXE to hard drive as the first boot device. Most often, this   error   occurs when your boot sequence is misconfigured in your BIOS, or your boot   device (usually your hard drive) cannot be read correctly.
Time_Daemon , Apologies for the misunderstanding. You would want to leave it unlocked to use in both the laptop and desktop.

Pittdawg, Managing Music Folders in Windows Media Player 12 In order to manage the music folder list in WMP 12 you'll need to be in library view mode. If you need to switch to this view then the quickest way is to hold down the   CTRL   key and press   1. To see a list of music folders that WMP 12 is currently monitoring, click the   Organize   menu near the top left-hand side of the screen. Hover the mouse pointer over the   Manage Libraries   option and then click   Music.   To add a folder on your hard drive that contains music files, click the   Add button. This action doesn't actually copy anything. It just tells WMP where to look. Locate the folder you want to add, left-click it once and then click the   Include Folder   button. To add more locations, simply repeat steps 3 and 4.   If you want to change which folder is used to save new audio files, then right-click on one in the list and then choose the   Set as Default Save Locationoption. This is useful for example when you want one central location for all your music. If you   rip an audio CD   then all the tracks will go to this new default location rather than the original My Music folder. Sometimes you'll want to remove folders that don't need to be monitored any more. To do this, highlight a folder by clicking on it and then click the   Remove   button. Finally when you're done with the folder list, click the   OK   button to save.
FourDim, Unfortunately, I do not find a part number for the pins. You can give our Dell Spare Parts Department a call at 1-877-717-3355 to see if they may have them available.
