RE: refunded needed

If you purchased it with a credit card, dispute the charge for the software with them. No avenue I have tried to get a response from Dell has garnered anything but "we promise to get back to you in 24-48 hours". Then nothing happens.

Tried chat, calls, posts here, email to Michael Dell, twitter. Does not matter. Everyone just passes you along to someone else, who passes you along to someone else, for ever and ever.
