Re: Dell AIO Photo Printer 964, theres not a correct Driver.

Today's you lucky day. I had a Dell 964 Printer and I had it working with Windows 7 64-bit, so here's the instructions.

Disconnect the printer. Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer.

Download the Vista 64-bit drivers(for Windows 7). Install the Vista 64-bit drivers in the Compatibility mode, you'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on)

Links to the patch/drivers can be found at...

Dell 964 Photo All-In-One Printer owners thread (W7)

Also try reading Share Files and Printers between Windows 7 and XP, this works both ways. If you are consider printer sharing, Connect the printer to the host computer ahd set it up for sharing. Try installing the printer drivers, choose network on each machine and choose the proper selection.

What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?

Original poster, If you have solved your problem, can you please mark the correct thread(s) with your solution. Thanks
