I never used dynamic nsrmmd in 8.1.1.x. It gave me a very tough time last yr when I deployed a new server to migrate 184.108.40.206 to 220.127.116.11/18.104.22.168. The dynamic nsrmmd didn't start enough nsrmmd when I had all my backup running. Originally suspected it was nsrjobd but took me couple of days to find out by counting # of nsrmmd. We always sized enough RAM for backup in my previous job. So, it is really a useless feature.
