About me

Karen has nearly 20 years marketing and public relations experience in the high tech industry. She most recently worked in Oracle’s global customer programs group where she managed joint marketing between Oracle and its Fortune 500 customers, creating and executing strategic marketing plans. Prior to her time at Oracle she worked at EMC where she was responsible for customer content creation to support new product introductions including the VNX family and the Symmetrix VMAX. She has also held marketing and public relations positions at PTC, Cognos, and R&R Advertising. She attended graduate school at the College of Communication at Boston University and holds a BS in psychology from Bridgewater State University. Before embarking on a career in high tech she spent four years in the United States Marine Corps.
