Dell 15 5518 overheating
I bought dell 15 5518 last month. From the very beginning i faced heating issues. Tech support upgraded bios and all drivers. Still I had the problem. Next they sent technician to change the fan and heatsink. Still issue not solved. Now they want to change the motherboard.
Its just a 15 days old machine and have been opened for two times.
I asked for complete unit replacement now.
Is heating issue common in this model?

you could have opted for a refund /replacement and you still can.
However as you have waited this long, Let them replace the Motherboard
Test the computer and in case same issue ask for Refund
Remember this option of Refund is only available for 30 days (from purchase)

I have the same issue. Good luck if you can get a replacement. They have replaced my motherboard but the problem still persists and they will only "assure" you to fix the problem but not provide a replacement. You'll finally end up spending more time chatting with various support representatives and waste your time on this laptop. It's a hopeless model with endless pain.

Hi Fellas,
I have purchased Dell Inspiron 5518 on 5th May 2022.
This is too much heating.
I just start chrome, Xampp and Sublime software only.
As I think this is not too much big like Android Studio or PS.
But why my laptop is too much heating.
Please I need solution I am middle class man.
I have purchased this laptop to my small saving.
