Rocco Ancona is a Distinguished Engineer in the End User Computing CTO Group responsible for leading the technology experience strategy across client platforms. In this role he has led a series of advanced development efforts in Natural User Interaction technologies including machine 3D vision, voice and projection. In addition to ten US and International granted and pending patents, he leads the intellectual property activity within the EUC CTO.
In prior roles within Dell since joining in 1996 he has led globally distributed development teams, delivering form factors and solutions across the full spectrum of the EUC portfolio.
Before joining Dell, he served as Senior Business Unit Manager, Symbol Technologies, leading barcode scanning and RF engineering and manufacturing operations for all hand-held computer terminal products.
Rocco earned his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University as well as a Graduate Business diploma from Hofstra University in New York.
