Mark Gambill, vice president of Dell's North America marketing division,
is responsible for the marketing strategy for Dell's Consumer and Small and
Medium Business customers.
Mr. Gambill brings more than 13 years of top-level
marketing experience to Dell. He joins
Dell from CDW, a Milwaukee-based provider of technology and services for
business, government and education.
There, he drove strategy and development of advertising, marketing,
branding, communications, business and market intelligence, and pricing, first
as a vice president of Marketing and then as senior vice president of sales and
chief marketing officer.
Prior to CDW, Mr. Gambill spent a combined 21 years
driving sales and marketing at a number of high-growth entrepreneurial and Fortune
500 companies, including roles as vice president, global strategic marketing initiatives
at Manpower, Inc., and senior vice president, sales and chief marketing officer
at ESI Corp. At both of these human
capital development organizations, Mr. Gambill achieved comprehensive
restructuring of the departments he oversaw.
Mr. Gambill has worked in 29 countries over the
course of his career. He holds a bachelor of science from Florida State University
and has taken post-graduate courses in strategy, executive management and
international marketing at INSEAD, in Fontainebleau, France and at the Booth
School of Business at the University of Chicag
