<p>My name is Erik August Møller</p> <p>I'm a seventy years young man, living in the Faroe Islands.</p> <p><br />I bought my DELL VOSTRO 1720 with WINDOWS VISTA in 2007, and install UBUNTU 07 as dual boot. The year after I installed UBUNTU 8:04 "on scratch", and here after running UBUNTU LINUX. <br /><br />I am very pleased with my 7 years old VOSTRO, ladle on the well worn - the keyboard is "trap teeth" and the battery is obviously not for longer holidays, but it "feels good in the hand," and the 17 "screen is sufficient for the construction drawings etc. <br /><br />However, I see that within the next 2-4 years I should replace it with something more modern. - I'm looking for a laptop with UBUNTU operating system, 17" screen and bootable DVD drive at an affordable price (<$ 500)</p>
