Frank Vitagliano, Vice President of Global Channel Strategy & Programs, is responsible for regional partners and Dell’s distribution businesses.
Prior to joining Dell in April of 2013, Frank was the Senior Vice President at Juniper Networks where he was responsible for all partner relationships for the Americas. Frank started his career with IBM in 1973 where he held a number of assignments, ranging from Business Operations to Sales Management in both the Enterprise and Channel organizations. In 1994 he was named Director of Channel Marketing for the IBM Personal Computer Company and held that position until 1996 when he was named Vice President of WW Fulfillment Operations. In 2000 Frank was promoted to Vice President of Distribution Channels Management and in 2003 was named as the Vice President of WW Distribution Channels for the IBM Global Business Partner Organization.
Frank has a degree in Business Management from Northeastern University in Boston. He is married with one daughter, who is currently a teacher in Georgia. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors for COMPTIA and previously was a Member of the Marketing Board of Technology for Georgia (2002-2004), and on the Board of Directors for XSIGo’ Corporation from (2007-2008). In addition he has served on the Board of Advisors for numerous companies and provided advice related to go-to- market strategies, particularly regarding channels.
In August 2003 Frank was recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award by VAR Business Magazine, in recognition of ongoing accomplishments in the U. S. Information Technology marketplace. In September 2008, he was the first vendor Executive inducted into the Ingram Micro Venture Tech Networks Hall of Fame.
