Hide "Loading Personal Settings" when using Metaprofiles

Jump to solution

Hi Folks,

we are using the MetaProfiles Feature in 7.6.

I was just wondering if it is possible to hide the "loading personal settings" messageBoxes while logging in to a computer using Metaprofile ?

Because at every log in the system is createing a new local profil and this box comes up. and users gets crazy that maybe there profil is deleted and now creating a new one

Any possiblity where great.

Cheers,
Attiq

Hello,

Yes, you are talking about an annoying box that is also known as  "Active Setup"

Get Metaprofiles to also capture these keys:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup

HKCU\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Active Setup

Once you done that, you'll see the box one more time. Then once you log off, we'll save the setting and you never see it again!

Thanks, Andrew.
