Hotfix 436565

Jump to solution

Is there anyway we can get the msi version of the vasclient32 install for this hotfix. We use SCCM to install it and SCCM works better with detection methods if we use a msi.

Thanks,

I figured it out...

Here are the steps to extract the msi fronm the vWorkspace exe install.

  1. Copy the vasclient32.exe to a directory on a computer that does not have vWorkspace installed.
  2. Open Command Prompt and go to the directory you copied the vasclient32.exe.
  3. Run this command
    vasclient32.exe /s /x /b"C:\Temp" /v"/qn"

If you have a C:\Temp directory then you will see vasclient32.msi in it.
