UseProxy option for ThinShell XML file

Hi,

Just wondered if any ThinShell users are able to set the UseProxy value in their ThinShell XML config file?

Have tried this without success, may have to log a call with support .

Hi Mike,

If using Native mode it currently does not support the proxy server settings, however a workaround would be switch Thinshell to “Shell” mode. I would then start AppPortal and use the WindowStateMinimised option in Thinshell which will remove AppPortal out of sight (mostly). If you then configure AppPortal to autolanch your desktop you will get almost exactly the same login experience as Native mode. Obviously you would then also need to host the Config.xml for AppPortal where you can then set the Proxy settings etc.
