      Texas Children’s Hospital needed a dispersed team to design and build its labor rooms remotely. Various stakeholders, ranging from care staff to architects and construction workers, had to view and collaborate on these room designs in real time, with the ability to ‘walkthrough’ them from anywhere.

    • Solution

      The project required a stack that could guarantee the high levels of processing and performance power needed to create ‘digital twins’ (virtual recreations of the rooms). Partner Mark III Systems used Precision workstations with NVIDIA RTX™ GPUs to support the AI workloads for these VR and AR elements.

    • Impact

      Mark III Systems’ solution has transformed the hospital’s design and planning process. By feeding back to construction workers and designers, medical staff can access equipment more efficiently, reduce their number of steps and more. Future patients can also view rooms before their arrival, giving them greater peace of mind.
