Vision
Enterprise cloud service provider Samsung SDS wanted to create GenAI services that improve how people work and live. To develop and run accurate, reliable GenAI services at scale for its own teams and its customers, Samsung SDS needed accelerated compute and scalable storage for developing, training and running ML and LLMs.

Solution
Samsung SDS turned to its partner, Dell Technologies, and built a service platform using the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA framework. For its AI Factory’s core infrastructure, Samsung SDS chose PowerEdge XE9680 servers with NVIDIA GPUs, scalable Dell PowerScale storage, and NVIDIA InfiniBand switches.

Impact
With its AI factory, Samsung SDS enables its developers and customers to securely develop and deploy GenAI at scale. Samsung SDS has launched two GenAI services: Brity Copilot automates business processes and FabriX enables protected connections between the GenAI tools in the Samsung SDS AI factory and its customers’ IT systems.
