We partner to advocate for inclusive public policy, to build career development and leadership opportunities for diverse talent, to respect human rights and accessibility for all and to increase our impact in the technology industry. 

    In FY24, we also: 

    • Represented our global workforce and inclusive practices on panels and sessions hosted by Disability:IN, Out & Equal, Black Enterprise, Texas Women’s Conference and others. 
    • Continued executive participation with Congressional caucus organizations, including Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS), Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) and Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI). 
    • Furthered our engagement as a founding member of the Alliance for Global Inclusion, a coalition of companies formed in 2020 that is committed to providing tangible, innovative solutions to historical shortcomings in diversity, equity and inclusion. 
    • Continued our long-standing membership of Catalyst, a nonprofit that brings together a global community of 500+ companies to learn and share leading practices and help build workplaces that work for women. Our Chairman and CEO Michael Dell is a Catalyst CEO Champion for Change and Board of Directors member.

  • Dell Technologies supports the following government actions and policies:

    • Empower businesses to start, grow and innovate by supporting diverse workforces and fostering mobility for highly skilled workers. 
    • Promote equal opportunity for all employees, prohibiting discrimination in the workplace, and using emerging technologies to address human bias in employment decisions. 
    • Adopt innovative tech and online platforms that can make education more affordable, accessible, and effective – and can improve access to top-ranking educators. 
    • Partner with nonprofit organizations, customers and peer companies on coalitions, advocacy groups and public policy initiatives to scale the diversity and inclusion imperative for maximum impact opportunities. 
    • Foster partnerships between schools and the private sector to provide students with mentoring, career guidance and apprenticeship programs. 
    • Encourage companies and educational institutions to research rapidly changing workforce needs and solutions; partner to align curricula with industry needs and expectations; and implement training and re-skilling programs as jobs and needs change.
