Tripp Lite's B072-008-1 NetCommander 8-Port Rackmount Cat5 KVM Switch is the smart solution for controlling multiple computers and servers from one monitor, keyboard and mouse. Requiring just 1U of rack space, the B072-008-1 features a rugged housing, premium connectors and superior functionality to ensure trouble-free operation in demanding high-availability environments. The B072-008-1 can control eight servers/computers directly, or up to 128 by cascading additional KVM switches. It is compatible with both PS/2 and USB connections using Tripp Lite B078-101-Series server interface units and inexpensive Cat5 patch cables (available separately). An optional IP remote access unit enables servers/computers to be controlled from any location via LAN, WAN or Internet.

Access Servers Anywhere with Optional IP Remote Access Capability
The B072-008-1 accepts an optional IP remote access unit (Tripp Lite model B051-000) that provides secure IP remote access to connected servers/computers without requiring additional rack space. IP remote access enables system administration, BIOS-level troubleshooting, GUI application installations, equipment reboots and more to be accomplished from any location using a standard Web browser or multi-platform client software.
