This system is estimated to run for 17.9 minutes at half load, 6.5 minutes for a full load. The LCD screen provides an estimated run time based on the required power usage during blackouts.

Can the battery capacity be expanded?

Yes, the PR1500RTXL2UN can support the BP48VP2U02 extended battery module to help extend the UPS runtime.

Can the PR1500RTXL2UN be monitored?

Yes, the PR1500RTXL2UN comes with a free download of PowerPanel Business that provides a user-friendly dashboard interface for controlling and monitoring the UPS.

Can this unit run a sump pump, laser printer, or other larger office equipment?

We do not recommend using the PR1500RTXL2UN to power sump pumps, laser printers, paper shredders, copiers, space heaters or other large electrical devices. The power demands of these devices may overload the unit, cause damage, and void the warranty.

How do I mute the alarms?

The audible alarm can be set to Mute on Battery. This is accomplished by going to the basic set up via the LCD Screen, navigate to audible alarm and then set to Mute on Battery.

The PR1500RTXL2UN is a Smart App Sinewave rack/tower convertible UPS with line-interactive topology, surge protection, and battery backup. CyberPower's Smart App Sinewave series has sine wave output to eliminate power gaps that can be detected by sensitive equipment and cause unexpected shutdowns. The Smart App Sinewave PR1500RTXL2UN improves battery life through battery equalization technology and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which corrects minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power. The enhanced chassis design with an easy-to-access toolless front panel, captive screws for battery panel access, and color-coded rear panel make battery changes and installations simple and fast. The PR1500RTXL2UN also has an innovative LCD panel that rotates 90°, tilts for a better viewing angle, and provides information on 47 different settings including UPS stats, UPS setup and control management, and testing options. This model accepts the BP48VP2U02 Extended Battery Module (EBM) for expanded runtime during power outages and includes pre-installed RMCARD205 network management card for remote management and control via a standard web browser or network management system.
