And that’s a wrap on the first leg of our #DestinationDell tour!
It’s been a transformative journey to watch the way Destination Dell evolved. The specially wrapped RV, decked out with the latest and greatest client products, went from being a mobile Executive Briefing Center to a place of conversation about technology solutions and the future of the workplace.

We wound our way across the west coast, visiting customers with a display of the latest and greatest Dell and Intel laptops and desktops, a VR gaming venue, a photo shoot area topped off with a local “best of” food and entertainment experience.
Destination Dell quickly became an experience that our customers and Dell sales teams felt was unique – a living a hub of technology, networking and entertainment.
We’ve had an exciting five months on the road, starting in the Pacific Northwest, making our way down through the Bay Area, LA, Phoenix, San Diego, and even the Las Vegas Strip, visiting customers from Nintendo, Verizon, JPL, The Gap, Cadence, City of Las Vegas, Disney, and WeWork, among many others.
The tour gave some of our best partners the opportunity to engage with Dell and Intel’s future-ready workplace firsthand, while also allowing our regional sales reps to gain valuable feedback about individual needs and technology solutions in real time.
“One thing I love is bringing things to customers that they’re not expecting,” said Brian Garvey, a Commercial account executive in California. “Getting people and products live in front of our customers. It’s hard to replace what we’re able to bring with Destination Dell and you could see it on customers’ faces.”

What’s next?
#DestinationDell camped out for an awesome 5-day run at The Experience by Dell Technologies during SXSW Interactive (above) and just visited with The Home Depot in our hometown of Austin. Next up we’re excited to hit other cities in Texas before heading to the Southeast and East Coast. We will be rolling out the next generation of technologies and the latest commercial client products featuring 7th generation Intel core processors, and new solutions such as the Canvas and all-in-one workstations.
