Why choose Energy Star?
Energy Star®-qualified products are the recognized standard in energy-efficiency, as set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy. When you reduce your electricity usage, you not only save money, you reduce emissions associated with electricity production. You can further reduce electricity usage and its environmental impacts by enabling power management or turning off your product when it is not in use for extended periods of time, particularly at night and over weekends.
When choosing an Energy Star-qualified product, you can also choose between categories depending on the performance you need. Dell has been an Energy Star partner for over a decade, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to energy efficiency in our products and to our customers.
Why choose EPEAT registered configurations?
EPEAT (the Green Electronics Council’s Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool) is the most comprehensive tool for evaluating overall environmental criteria. Across eight categories and multiple criteria (including whether a product meets Energy Star requirements), the EPEAT tool makes it easy for customers to evaluate the life cycle implications of a product.
