Today’s announcement of Dell’s expanded partnership with CDW is yet another example of Dell’s commitment to the channel and a core part of our omni-channel strategy to provide partners and customers with choice of how to do business with us. National Solution Providers (NSPs) such as CDW expand Dell’s overall reach and coverage to our customer base, and do a tremendous job providing our customers with the availability, credit, training and support they often need to be successful.
As of October 13, 2015 Dell’s full range of solutions are in CDW’s catalog to customers in North America. As a long-time Dell partner selling Dell’s end-to-end solutions, Kelway continues to expand our reach in parts of Europe and Asia through CDW’s recent acquisition of Kelway. CDW’s renowned sales and technical expertise along with our end-to-end solution set creates a formidable one-stop shop for customers, from the desktop to the datacenter. I’m proud to say that with this CDW agreement, Dell now has significant relationships with every major partner in the industry.
NSPs are critical to our channel strategy, and we see a role that the larger NSPs play across the portfolio and broad geographic areas, as well as those who specialize in particular solutions, customer segments, and geographies. CDW is in a prime position to contribute to this business objective. We fully expect that CDW will be a long-term strategic partner that can utilize their expertise and knowledge to position Dell integrated solutions to solve the modern-day IT needs of customers across the world.
