Dell PowerEdge 12th generation servers launched in March of this year to a round of raving reviews that just keep coming. At last count, following our second wave of servers launched in May, we’ve accumulated over 30 product reviews globally, and we’ve been thrilled by the positive response to our products.
PC Pro (UK) awarded the PowerEdge R620 a 6/6 rating and a ‘Recommended’ award for its features, design and performance and stated that it’s the top value and the classiest 1U rack server on the planet.
CRN (US) stated that the PowerEdge R720 is the fastest server ever seen in the CRN test center and recommended it as a faster, more expandable replacement for the R710 or as a highly capable server for virtualization, transaction processing, HPC or general computing needs.
IT Pro (UK) awarded the PowerEdge R720 a 6/6 rating and ‘Editor’s Choice’ award for its massive memory capacity and hypervisor redundancy, which make it ideal for virtualization capable of running any application that can be thrown at it. Dave Mitchell writes, ‘The PowerEdge R720 packs an unbeatable range of features into its 2U chassis and does so at a very competitive price.’
InfoWorld (US) commended the PowerEdge R720xd for its high performance, expandability and excellent out-of-the-box server management tools and stated that it has the ability to handle storage-intensive workloads without the need for external storage.
IT Pro (UK) gave the PowerEdge R820 a 5/6 star rating and an ‘IT Pro Recommended’ award for showcasing the latest Intel E5-4600 Xeons in a superbly built, feature-packed system and stated that it combines processing density, high memory capacity, lower power consumption and value.
ZDNet (UK) awarded the PowerEdge T320 an 8.9/10 rating for offering much more power, a massive hike in storage, new GPU accelerator and impressive remote management options and stated that the system takes a lot of the hassle out of managing servers and shouldn’t be viewed purely as a large enterprise luxury.
TecChannel (Germany) praised the PowerEdge T620 for offering the latest in server technology, good performance and convincing energy efficiency and stated that the all-around tower server is especially recommended for small businesses.
InfoWorld (US) awarded the PowerEdge C6220 an 8.7/10, ‘Very Good’ rating and ‘Editor’s Choice’ award for its performance, scalability and serviceability.
