Dell to Tweet Q4 Earnings Results on February 15

Next week, Dell will release our fourth quarter and full year FY11 results after the market close on Tuesday, February 15. Beyond that and the webcast that will happen at 4pm Central Time, we’ll also be live tweeting from the @DellShares account on Twitter.

Last quarter, Q3 was the first time our IR team did the live tweeting thing, and it went over pretty well. If you’re not able to dial into the call, keeping up with the tweets from @DellShares (and via the #DellEarnings hastag) is a great way to keep up with the news.

Also related to Twitter, the IR team will be interviewing Dell’s CFO Brian Gladden and Sr. VP of Dell Services, Steve Schuckenbrock that will be posted on YouTube like we’ve done in the past. This time though, our IR team is looking to Twitter for potential questions for Brian and Steve:

If you have a question related to Dell’s earnings, feel free to send it to them to @DellShares on Twitter by 3PM Central Time today.

Otherwise, tune into the webcast at Dell.com/investor, or follow the @DellShares tweets via the #DellEarnings hashtag.

Update: Here's a link to Rob Williams' blog post on Dell's Q4 earnings and full year FY11 results. And if you're interested in an analysis of the our social media efforts behind these earnings, take a look at Dominic Jones' post over at IR Web Report. Thanks to everyone who tuned in.
