Dell PS Series Planning Training

This training covers the foundational theory and knowledge required to effectively plan the deployment of PS Series storage arrays into new and existing SAN environments. It is a combination of self-paced online material followed by a 4 hour virtual-instructor led course. This training is highly recommended for individuals preparing to take the Dell PS Series Storage Professional Deployment exam to deploy Dell SC series storage and follows the PS Series Installation and Configuration course.

The self-paced eLearning course is approximately 9 hours and includes lessons: Planning for Windows Server, Exchange Planning and Design, SQL Storage Planning and Design, Planning and Designing for VMware, Planning for Hyper-V Environments, Dell PS Series RAID Design, Load Balancers, Dell PS Series Replication, Networking Considerations, Specific Applications – Planning and Design for Dell PS Series Storage.

The virtual instructor-led course is a hands-on workshop that applies practical knowledge gained from the eLearning to common customer scenarios. The workshop will have pre-work of completing a given design based on a set of variables provided, giving the learner an opportunity to share and discuss the practicality of their end results.
