Built with the 82576 Gigabit Ethernet Controller, the adapter showcases the next evolution in GbE networking features for the enterprise network and data center. These features include support for multi-core processors and optimization for server virtualization. It provides point-and-click management of individual adapters, advanced adapter features, connection teaming, and virtual local area network (VLAN) configuration. Additionally, it increases performance on multi-processor systems by efficiently balancing network loads across CPU cores when used with Receive-Side Scaling from Microsoft or Scalable I/O on Linux. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
