With the launch of the new Dell Education portfolio, we’re expanding our offerings to better serve the diverse needs of the education segment. We’re announcing the Dell Pro Education 14 laptop, Dell Pro Education 11 laptop or 2-in-1 and Dell Chromebook 14 laptop. They join the Dell Chromebook 11 laptop or 2-in-1 that launched late last year. The additions to the portfolio reinforce our commitment to providing accessible and reliable technology.

That’s why the Dell Education portfolio is designed with the physical realities of a student’s day in mind, ensuring durability that keeps up with their active lives while embracing a sustainable approach to technology.
Accidents are inevitable, which is why we’ve designed these devices to take a hit and keep going. Ruggedized to meet military standards, they feature reinforced corners and rubberized edges to absorb shocks and survive drops. To ensure ultimate durability, our devices undergo rigorous drop tests onto surfaces such as steel, tougher than concrete. They are also subjected to extensive micro-drop testing to simulate everyday bumps, with durability benchmarks that align with or exceed previous generations. Additionally, the 180-degree lay-flat hinges are tested through thousands of open-and-close cycles to ensure they remain reliable under constant use. The keyboard is spill-resistant and tamper-proof with captive keys, so a toppled water bottle or a curious hand won’t disrupt the day. For our 2-in-1 devices, we use Corning® Gorilla® Glass designed to provide excellent scratch resistance and enhanced drop protection. With up to five years of warranty, these devices are built to support learning for the long haul.
This commitment to durability is paired with a focus on sustainability. The Dell Education portfolio is designed with repairability in mind. We’ve simplified the internal layout, using shared parts across different models, and ensuring key components like batteries are customer-replaceable. This serviceability reduces costs, minimizes e-waste, and extends the usable life of the device. These devices also reflect a shift toward responsible manufacturing. They are EPEAT Gold registered and incorporate recycled materials, including post-consumer recycled plastic and recycled aluminum.
By combining durability with sustainability, Dell devices are a long-term investment in education, ready to support students year after year while reducing their environmental impact.
