Dell Storage – the backbone of Indy Demo Days

Last week we were in Maine for the VTUG Summer Slam. Tomorrow we’re headed to Indianapolis for the biggest VMware sponsored VMUG conference – Indy Demo Days.

We’re not just heading to Indy, but Dell is providing the IT infrastructure for the entire event! We’ll be bringing R815, R720, and R820 servers, EqualLogic storage, Force10 networking, and Sonic Wall security to run the management for the event as well as the wireless and the certification testing environment. We’re also using Wyse to run the testing environment, so if you take an exam you’ll have some hands-on time (as a user) with Wyse! Basically, if you’ve ever wanted to see a Dell end-to-end solution in action, you want to get to Indy Demo Days.

We’ll also be bringing our hands-on labs, and they’ll be available all day. From 12:30 – 1:30, Matt Brooks (Sr. Technology Strategist of Dell Services—Office of the CTO) will be delivering the Dell Keynote. If you are interested in how to manage large VM infrastructures, and the challenges Dell had implementing one, you will want to hear Matt’s presentation. We hope to share some tips we can share as you start down this journey!

We’ll also have a booth, and if you stop by and say hi you will have a chance to win a Dell Inspiron 15R laptop.

Indy Demo Days is looking to be an incredible event, and we’re excited to be supporting it. Will we see you there?
