Driving Innovation and Impact Across Texas
From a University of Texas at Austin dorm room to a global tech leader, our purpose has always been about creating technologies that drive human progress. We’re proud to be named the No. 2 Most Reputable Companies in Texas for 2025 by Merco, with our founder, Michael Dell being recognized as the No. 1 Most Reputable Leader in the state.
We’re proud to call Texas home, committed to investing in the state, empowering our communities and building a brighter future together. Here are just a few examples of forward-thinking solutions our customers, partners and team members have created to serve communities and tackle complex challenges.
-
- Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) – Together we are driving groundbreaking research with nation-leading HPC infrastructure like the “Vista” system, powered by 600+ liquid-cooled Dell PowerEdge servers and Dell PowerScale storage. These solutions accelerate breakthroughs in AI, medicine and climate science. Additionally, with Dell AI infrastructure, the University of Texas System is creating a secure AI environment to provide scalable AI innovation across its campuses while prioritizing governance and data security.
- Mark III Systems and Texas Children’s Hospital is using Dell Precision AI-ready workstations to create digital twins of labor and delivery rooms. This innovation streamlines planning, reduces costs and enhances patient care, setting a new standard for healthcare innovation through scalable, AI-driven solutions.
- City of Amarillo – Dell’s AI Factory and Professional Services powered “Emma,” an AI assistant handling 280 daily inquiries with 98% approval, bridging language gaps, and projected to save the city $1.8M annually.
- City of Fort Worth – Dell is assisting Fort Worth in building an IT foundation to support advanced AI capabilities, which the city can leverage to improve critical areas including stormwater management, cybersecurity and public engagement.
Investing in Texas communities
Through strategic investments in education and workforce development, we work with nonprofits, school districts and other organizations to create opportunities that make a lasting impact.
Every young person deserves a bright future, which is why we support programs that bridge the digital divide and spark STEM curiosity. Our Student Tech Crew program operates in Texas and across the country to give students hands-on IT experience and train them as certified tech support specialists.
We also partner with AT&T, and recently opened 14 Connected Learning Centers across Texas, equipping existing nonprofit organizations with high-speed fiber internet, Wi-Fi, Dell devices, and digital literacy resources, helping people complete schoolwork, apply for jobs, manage healthcare and more.
We recently hosted an AI Day of Learning for 27 nonprofits across Central Texas to help them harness the power of AI and gain the skills needed to use AI in their mission-driven work. Participants received valuable training and certification opportunities related to understanding and applying core AI concepts.
None of this would be possible without the commitment and passion of Dell team members who dedicate their time, expertise and resources to make our communities stronger.
Thank You, Texas, for putting your trust in us, and congratulations to the other proud Texas-based companies and founders.
