We have frequently heard from partners that they would like us to offer more technical training and advanced competencies. As part of our continuing focus on making the channel smarter, better, faster, and stronger we are excited to announce just that — an expansion and brand-new advanced competencies to add to our Partner Solutions Training program!
New offerings in Storage and Identity Access Management expose new ways to earn Premier Partner benefits and status for our partners who prefer to concentrate in a single practice area. The first advanced competency, Network Security, was announced in September. These latest additions continue to build on the PartnerDirect program vision to provide flexible growth opportunities within the program for partners with a range of business models:
Advanced Competencies in Storage and Identity and Access Management (IAM): Storage and IAM Advanced Competencies provide flexible growth opportunities and offer partners a path to Premier status in the PartnerDirect program for partners whose business model is focused in those areas. Partners can complete advanced sales and technical training which enables them to deepen their knowledge and skills and gain a competitive advantage in those markets.
Core Client Solutions and Workstation Competencies: These new competencies will be available globally in Q1 FY16, enabling partners to benefit from the unique advantages of Dell client and workstation solutions and how they address the mobility, performance and application requirements of their customers.
Expansion of Desktop Virtualization Competency: Building on recent enhancements to the Desktop Virtualization Solutions Competency, Dell is adding new sales and technical courses for the latest version of Wyse vWorkspace desktop virtualization software to the existing competency centered on end-to-end Dell cloud client-computing solutions.
The in-depth training offered within the Advanced Competency curriculum paths, is designed to deepen your expertise in Dell technologies and make you even more valuable to your customers.
