Once again, the Dell Technology Partner Program is thrilled to welcome several of our certified Technology Partners to Austin – this time to the first ever Dell World! Dell World was always a fantastic opportunity for attendees to connect with our partners, and Dell World will take it up another notch! But don’t take my word for it: I spoke with several of the Technology Partners who are sponsoring the event, and here’s what they had to say about what makes them repeat sponsors, what they’re anticipating at Dell World, and what they’re looking forward to with Dell in the future.
Success Stories
Simply put, our Technology Partners are returning because they know from experience that good things will happen. “There’s nothing like being at Dell World, now Dell World, to maximize the number of customers we can talk to in a 3-day period,” said Simon Clepham, VP Strategic Alliances at Appsense. “This will be my 6th time attending, and I have to say each year it gets better – more customers, better sessions, and more opportunities to interact with Dell and our partners.” Gina Geisel, Alliances Manager at Seagate, seconded that: “The conversations we had with customers last year at Dell World were second to none. We met with a range of folks from universities to insurance companies to large web hosting companies.”
And encounters at the event translate to meaningful connections that use our joint solutions to solve customer challenges. Brian Inge, Regional Sales Manager at Transition Networks “At Dell World last year, we wound up working many leads and quoting new net business on a global scale.”
Counting Down
It’s no surprise, then, that our Technology Partners are chomping at the bit for the inaugural Dell World. We asked them what they were most excited about. Clara Delany, Marketing Events Director at Asavie, is excited about the technology at the heart of the conference. “The first Dell world event is the perfect place to get the best integrated technology,” she said.
Several partners also mentioned the irreplaceable personal connections they will make there. Tony Buccieri, Global Alliances Director at SUSE, noted that “Dell World is a great chance to meet and interact with customers, as well as Dell teams.” Arun Gowda, VP Global Business Development at Vormetric added, “Having worked with both EMC and Dell for many years, Vormetric is eager to engage customers and partners together under one roof.”
Looking Beyond
Of course, connections only matter if they endure, and our partners are already looking beyond Dell World to the future of Dell. Greg Kirchoff, VP Business Development at BlueData, said “We have been fortunate to work with both EMC and Dell as a partner. Now that Dell and EMC are one company, we're excited to double-down on these efforts. It's truly a better together combination."
And John Vincenzo, CMO at Silver Peak, expressed similar sentiments: “Beginning with Dell World, we look forward to expanding our long-standing partnership.”
Dan Mantz, President of RackSolutions, brought it back to the customer. “We are excited to see how the combined technologies and products of Dell and EMC are able to transform the industry and provide solutions to both large and small IT customers,” he said.
Our customers are the reason that all of us will be in downtown Austin next week. We welcome all our Technology Partners to a wonderful show once again this year and look forward to meeting many of you in person.
