    The power of our people to change the world

    • At Dell, our team members play a critical role in helping to drive social impact. They are passionate about helping the communities in which they live, work and play. We help feed this passion by empowering them to use their skills, knowledge, and time to drive societal change and transform lives. As part of our initiatives we donate technology, partner with communities to lend our time for community projects, and we volunteer our expertise to help nonprofits digitally transform their organizations. We believe in the power of people to change the world, because we know progress will take all of us.

    • Team member giving, by the numbers

      We support and recognize those efforts with our team member giving programs, which include volunteering initiatives, matching donations our team members make, and supporting places and people affected by disasters around the globe.

    • We give where we work and live

      Every donation a team member makes to a vetted nonprofit organization made is matched dollar for dollar — up to $10,000 USD annually per employee. In fiscal year 2022, more than 10,280 nonprofits received donations matched by Dell Technologies. And every team member who logs 10 hours or more of volunteering receives a voucher for $150 USD that they can donate to the vetted charity of their choice.

      • We believe so strongly in the power of our team and their philanthropic action that we have committed to two ambitious targets as part of our 2030 Progress Made Real plan:

        • Each year in this new decade, 75% of our employees will participate in giving or volunteerism in their communities
        • By 2030, we will use our collective expertise to help 1,000 nonprofits digitally transform to better serve their communities

      Even well-resourced nonprofits direct what resources they have towards fulfilling their mission before operating costs like IT operations and strategy. Technology can serve as a force multiplier for nonprofits, allowing them to spend more time helping their communities and less time on tasks that can be automated. That’s why, as part of our 2030 goals, we’ve also committed to helping 1,000 nonprofits digitally transform.
