There are two types of licenses:

• The Community Edition 4TB license for UnityVSA and Cloud Edition are provided at no cost for customers to use in Test/Dev only as it is a community supported download. During initial setup, please click here to acquire a free license file. (Free license. Limited to 4TB and Community Support only).
• Professional Edition licenses with full Dell support for UnityVSA and Cloud Edition  are available in 50TB and 350TB capacities.
• Capacity License options:

            350TB 12 vCPU, 96GB Memory, Dual-SP
            350TB 2 vCPU, 12GB Memory, Dual-SP
            50TB 2 vCPU, 12GB Memory, Dual-SP
            50TB 2 vCPU, 12GB Memory, Single-SP

For all Unity XT software-defined storage products except the Community Edition, a license must be purchased through the Dell Sales team (may already be part of the sales order). Once a license is purchased, user should receive an email with License Authorization Code (LAC) number. User needs to follow the instructions on the email to activate the license (one-time). Once activated, the user can download the license file anytime. Direct link will be provided in the email. (Paid License. Not limited to 4TB, required for Unity Cloud Edition HA and UnityVSA HA deployment, and includes DELL Professional Support)
