Solution
The university partnered with Dell Technologies for its HPC solution that includes Dell PowerEdge servers and three types of storage. Dell PowerScale supports AI modeling, Dell PowerStore supports HPC and virtual environments, and Dell PowerMax supports the university’s archives and other critical data with built-in security.
Impact
Students, staff and faculty can learn using modern technologies including AI, ML and HPC-powered analytics. They can make better use of information including raw data from DNA sequencers, microscopes and other large instruments. The university has also improved IT staff efficiency, data protection and its sustainability profile.
