How long will the UPS power my systems after the power goes out?

The LCD screen provides estimated runtimes based on the power required by connected devices during power outages. This UPS is estimated to run for 7.9 minutes at half load, 2.3 minutes for a full load.

What does ECO Mode mean?

ECO mode is an energy-efficient, user selectable feature. When the computer is off or in sleep mode, the UPS automatically cuts power to devices plugged into ECO mode outlets.

Can the EC850LCD be monitored?

Yes, the EC850LCD comes with a free download of PowerPanel Personal that provides a user-friendly dashboard interface for controlling and monitoring the UPS.

Can this unit accommodate larger plugs?

Yes, the EC850LCD can accommodate four larger plugs without compromising the access of the other outlets.

How do I mute the alarms?

To turn the alarm off, quickly press the power button twice. While muted, there will be no audible notification when the UPS reaches a lower battery state.

A compact UPS with standby topology, the CyberPower Ecologic EC850LCD provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. During power interruptions, the EC850LCD offers reliable power protection and battery backup. When the battery backup detects that the computer is off or in sleep mode, computer peripherals connected to the ECO Mode, surge protected outlets will be automatically turned off, reducing power usage and lowering energy costs - USB connection required.

This UPS has a capacity of 850VA/510Watts, and includes twelve (12) surge-protected NEMA 5-15R outlets (6 with battery backup and 3 with ECO technology). The multi-function LCD provides users the ability to check UPS operating status and assist in trouble-shooting power issues. Its compact design allows for horizontal or vertical placement, or it can be mounted on a wall.
