What’s the difference between the 5P Compact 2U models and the 1U models?
The compact models (5P750RC, 5P1000RC and 5P1500RC), are four to five inches shorter than the 1U models. In addition, they provide twice as many output connections as the 1U models (10 vs. five).
Can I add a network card to 5P UPS models?
Yes, you can add the optional Gigabit Network Card, Eaton Relay Card-MS or an Eaton Modbus card.
I’d like to get temperature and humidity alerts. Does the 5P incorporate any kind of environmental monitoring?
Yes, you can add the Eaton Environmental Monitoring Probe (EMP) Gen 2 for temperature and humidity alerts. To use the EMP, you must also use an Eaton network card.

Yes, all 5P rack compact models can be mounted in a rack or vertically on a wall. Included with each UPS is a multi-purpose mounting kit.
