HTML5-Based Interface Provides Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities
With a built-in Java-free, HTML5-based LX Platform interface (the mobile-friendly PowerAlert® Device Manager), the PDUMH20HVNET provides complete remote access for power monitoring and email notifications via a secure network or Web browser. When used with an optional EnviroSense2 environmental sensor (sold separately), it can also perform temperature/humidity and dry contact monitoring, providing IT personnel with enhanced oversight of facility power and environmental conditions. As an added bonus, up to three EnviroSense2 modules can be daisy-chained together. The PDUMH20HVNET supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Automated alerts can be configured to warn against potential overload, power loss and downtime. Protocols supported include IPv4, IPv6, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. Plus, this system can be accessed, configured and controlled through secure web, SNMP or Telnet Interface. In addition, individually switched outlets can be controlled via a built-in web/network interface, enabling remote reboot of unresponsive network hardware. DHCP/Manual configuration support provides the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card, or manually assigned via permanent IP addresses.
Unused PDU outlets can be electronically locked off to prevent powering of unauthorized hardware and PDU power consumption is displayed locally and can be monitored via the web/network interface, also the PDU has user-defined alarms to warn of potential overloads before critical IT mains or branch breakers trip. Besides, optional ENVIROSENSE temperature / humidity probe enables remote monitoring of in-rack environmental conditions and alarms for up to 3 user supplied contact-closure sensors. Moreover it supports real-time monitoring notification and logging of all on-board reporting functions with user-specified alarm thresholds and actions for each reported condition.
