K-12 Education

Our K-12 Education Strategists are focused on teaching and learning. Their role is to help support school districts as they design transformational models to support the future readiness of students. Our strategists are former educators that have extensive background in successful implementation of technology and learning initiatives. Topics they have helped school systems plan and implement include:

Adam Garry
Adam Garry is the Director of Education Strategy for Dell EMC. With 15 years of experience in education consulting, he has led the effort in enabling school districts to pursue digital transformation and accelerating momentum toward student-led and personalized learning. Adam has presented at international conferences such as ISTE and subsequently published articles on technology integration for several education publications including Forbes. Adam has co-authored the books, “Teaching the iGeneration” and “Personalized Learning Through Voice and Choice,” and was a former Florida elementary school teacher. Adam received a BA in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Teaching and Learning with a Technology emphasis, and a Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University.

Matt Dascoli
Matt Dascoli joined Dell EMC as an Education Strategist with the goal of helping customers adopt solutions that make learning a more interactive, hands-on experience. Previously, a K-12 science teacher, he helped redefine Virginia based school district’s approach to professional learning and helped shape the district’s approach to teaching and learning. Additionally, he was the lead architect behind the district’s student laptop deployment. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Lauren Hobbs
Lauren Hobbs is a Dell EMC Education Strategist leading both the professional learning and creativity solutions for the Dell EMC education team. As a former teacher and serving roles in district and school-based leadership Lauren has leveraged curriculum, assessment, and instructional assets to support inquiry based, student centered learning initiatives in a large school districts. Lauren has co-authored the book “Personalized Learning Through Voice and Choice,” and multiple articles for state superintendents organizations. Lauren has a BA in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Elementary Education and Curriculum from Florida State University.

Kim LeClaire
Kim LeClaire is an Education Strategist at Dell EMC committed to serving and enabling education communities around the world by implementing innovative technical solutions. Kim is a former teacher who has a Master’s degree in literacy from University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, and previously held the position of Director of Educational Technology at several school districts. Throughout her professional leadership, Kim’s efforts have been honored with the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE) ‘Making IT Happen’ award granting recognition to educators and leaders who demonstrate extraordinary commitment, leadership, courage and persistence in improving digital learning opportunities for students. On a global level, she has collaborated with Malaysia and Singapore to support the ministry of education as well as districts throughout the US with ISTE standards for digital learning.

Jeremiah Okal-Frink, PhD, is a veteran educator, leader, professional developer and technology integrator. He has led change in teaching and learning through the catalyst of technology in rural, suburban and urban districts. At Dell EMC, he is an Education Strategist at the forefront of embedding and researching learning initiatives regarding learning spaces, emerging technologies such as VR and AR, social media, online and blended learning, and increasing equitable access for students.

Thomas Osmun
Thomas Osmun is a Dell EMC Education Strategist supporting student development of the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly digital world and a globally competitive workforce. In his 12 years of experience, he has held several positions as an educator including as a K-12 teacher, RTI coach, middle school assistant principal, district supervisor of professional learning and an instructional programs administrator. He has experience facilitating professional learning for teachers, coaches and administrators around problem-based learning environments, blended learning, and Professional Learning Community (PLC) implementation. Additionally, he has lead a district-wide Learning Management System (LMS) implementation along with overseeing blended learning courses and curriculum. Tom has a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Physical Education/Sports Management and a Master’s degree from Saint Leo University in Educational Leadership.

Leah Rodgers
Leah Rodgers is an Education Strategist at Dell EMC that helps schools and districts implement technology solutions that allow for students and staff to achieve their maximum potential. With extensive experience as a former K-8 education teacher, vice principal, and principal, she has supported the development and expansion of numerous K-12 blended schools, identifying programs and tools to improve school results and key metrics that measure effective outcomes. Leah has also provided training, professional development and education consulting to teachers and principals across the country helping improve school operations, culture, and academic programming. Prior to Dell EMC, she was Vice President of Professional Services at AdvancedPath Academics, where she helped schools integrate data from social-emotional assessments and curriculum to effectively address students’ non-academic needs. Leah has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Education from DePaul University.

Jennifer Sigmund is a Senior Higher Education Strategist for Dell EMC with 20 years ’ experience working with education institutions. She is committed to driving Dell Technology partnerships and initiatives with higher education institutions to support better leaning outcomes, improve administrative processes, campus efficiency and safety. She builds strategic partnerships with universities and education tech companies for student success initiatives and research. Prior to joining Dell EMC, she was the Director of Product Marketing at both Trillion and Polycom where she managed integrated solutions portfolios that helped educational institutions implement network connectivity, distance learning and collaborative solutions. Jennifer has a BGS in Economics and Marketing from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Bowling Green State University.

Her experience includes designing, implementing and supporting all aspects of IT for administrative, academic, and research needs. Prior to her work in education, Jeanne designed and implemented global financial applications after earning her degree as an IT Engineer from the Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University.

She is an educational thought leader and social media influencer with expertise around Professional Learning and Next Generation Digital Classrooms. She began her education career by receiving her degree from University of Texas at Austin in Applied Learning & Development and obtained her K-8 Teaching Certificate with a specialization in Speech Communications. Just prior to joining Dell EMC, Snow was President/Owner of Futurekids School Technology Solutions in Texas. From teaching in numerous districts, to writing curriculum, to consulting with schools across the globe, Snow has accelerated momentum toward student-led and personalized learning for the last 20 years.
