Dell is in the process of joining the Greek Packaging Compliance scheme run by the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation "HERRCO" Dell will be members in August 2007.

The Waste Management (Packaging) Regulations 2007 obliges all companies involved in the production, distribution and retailing of products with packaging exceeding the deโminimus (ie. > than โฌ1m and > than 10 tonnes of packaging / packaged goods per annum) to comply with specific requirements. Dell Ireland fulfils its obligations under the Waste Management (Packaging) Regulations through its membership of Repak (http://www.repak.ie) in Ireland. Repak was established to help businesses meet their legal obligations to fund the recovery and recycling of the packaging on the goods or services they supply, as set out in the Waste Management (Packaging) Regulations 2007.
Repak through its website provides advice on all aspects around the recycling of packaging. A list of recyclers is available who will go on-site and remove unwanted packaging for an agreed fee.
