How Do I Resolve the SD Memory Card Not Detected Error that Occurs when Using the Dell Axim X3 Handheld? - KB Article - 174467

Download and install the R70304.EXE Patch for the Axim X3 Handheld

To download the R70304.EXE patch, perform the following steps:

  1. Connect the data sync cable to the Axim handheld or seat the handheld into the docking cradle.
  2. Click the file name below to download the patch:
    R70304 (.EXE)
NOTENOTE:By downloading, you accept the terms of the Dell Software License Agreement.
  1. Click the Save button.
    The Save As: window appears.
  2. Verify that the R70304.EXE file name is listed in the File name: box, and then click the Save button.
    The File saved window appears.
  3. Click the OK button.
  4. Close all open programs.
  5. Double-click the R70304.EXE icon on your Desktop.
    The ActiveSync Add/Remove Programs window appears.
NOTE NOTE:The ActiveSync Add/Remove Programs feature will automatically install the patch.

    The Application Downloading Complete window appears.
  1. Click the OK button.
    The Setup Complete window appears.
  2. Click the Finish button.
